Beth Eynon, editorial director of Seven Dials, will publish the first book from television personality and influencer Georgia Kousoulou in hardback, e-book and audiobook on 29th February 2024. UK and Commonwealth rights were acquired from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton on behalf of Mokkingbird.
It features a series of short essays on motherhood “lamenting the 2 a.m. night-feed and how to get stains out of the sofa, alongside longer reads on how she found herself again after becoming a mum”.
Eynon said: “Georgia has often been called an agony-aunt on her social media and when appearing on ’TOWIE’. In I Wish I Knew, she has beautifully crafted her best pieces of advice alongside her own journey to motherhood. With nothing off limits, Georgia is as open, honest and down-to-earth as we know her to be, with her trademark humour too. I’m happy to have been working with her on her debut book, and so pleased it’s found a home at Seven Dials.”
Kousoulou added: “As many people know, the past year has been really challenging both mentally and physically for me, but through being open, honest and true to myself I’ve been able to find my purpose and emotionally let go – it’s been my form of therapy! I want this book to appeal to anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, alone or who needs to hear someone else saying what they are thinking.
"It’s a book I would have loved growing up as I always felt silly asking questions and look back and think, ’I wish I’d known that’. So, if you’re feeling lost like I was and want to go on a journey with someone ’normal’ like you who has been there themselves, this is the book for you.”
