Blink Publishing's non-fiction imprint 535 has acquired an exploration of what happens to our bodies when we drink too much by Canadian journalist Shaughnessy Bishop-Stall.
Entitled Hungover: A History of the Morning After and One Man's Quest for the Cure, the book will also see Bishop-Stall looking at different cultures' go-to remedies for fixing unwanted repercussions of over-imbibing.
Joel Simons, publisher at 535, who acquired UK rights from Stephanie Sinclair on behalf of Samantha Haywood at the Transatlantic Agency, called it "gonzo journalism at its very best".
"Passionate, entertaining and absolutely hilarious, it’s the perfect bedtime reading for the booziest time of year," he added.
The book will be published in November 2018, alongside Penguin in the US.
