Sheldon Press acquires rights to Chinyelu Kunz's The Little Book of Parenting

Sheldon Press, an imprint of Hachette, has acquired the rights to mindful parenting expert Chinyelu Kunz’s The Little Book of Parenting.

Waldorf early childhood educator and parenting coach Kunz has put her 30 years of experience into the book—a modern-day guide for parents of young children.

Editorial director Victoria Roddam acquired world English language rights from Lauren Lunn-Farrow, managing director of The Expert Agency.

Kunz’s guide aims to help parents raise emotionally healthy individuals with the help of powerful practical tools, influenced by the Waldorf education principles.

Born and raised in Enugu, Nigeria, Chinyelu moved to the US after high school to pursue higher education. Kunz become an early childhood educator and earned certifications in Waldorf early childhood teaching and human development. In 2020, she founded We Nurture Collective, a platform offering podcasts, coaching and resources for parents. 

The book will be published on 12th November 2024.
