Simon & Schuster lands four-book deal with Heidi Swain

Simon and Schuster UK has  signed a four-book deal with Sunday Times bestselling author Heidi Swain.

S&S UK acquired world rights for all four books from Amanda Preston at LBA. The first book is scheduled for publication in April 2021 as a paperback original. 

S&S is Swain's current publisher and her latest title, The Secret Seaside Escape, will be published on 16th April 2020. 

Swain was discovered by S&S UK in 2014 through Books and the City’s #OneDay open submissions initiative, S&S’s publishing platform developed to promote commercial female fiction.

Swain said: "I am thrilled to have signed another deal with Simon & Schuster UK. The Books and the City team are a pleasure to work with and I feel in very safe hands. This new contract will bring our number of published titles to 15, which is amazing given that my debut was published just five years ago. I am very much looking forward to working on the new books and welcoming my wonderful readers back to Wynbridge and beyond."

Preston added: "I am so excited by Simon & Schuster’s unwavering enthusiasm and ambitious plans for Heidi. I can’t wait to see what they do next."
