Sourcebooks has acquired world English print rights to several new frontlist and previously self-published backlist titles by bestselling thriller author, Freida McFadden, who was previously published by digital-first publisher Bookouture.
Editor Jenna Jankowski acquired the rights from Christina Hogrebe at the Jane Rotrosen Agency. The new titles include the third book in the bestselling Housemaid series, The Housemaid is Watching, for Sourcebooks’ mystery thriller imprint Poisoned Pen Press. It is slated for print release in June 2024. Bookouture holds e-book and audio rights to the title.
Among McFadden’s new frontlist titles will be The Coworker and The Locked Door, which will publish internationally on 28th November 2023, with Never Lie out on 5th December. McFadden’s next frontlist title, The Teacher, will follow on 6th February 2024.
