Vegan campaigner and former "Made in Chelsea" star Lucy Watson is publishing a second cookery book with Sphere.
Commissioning editor Rhiannon Smith, working alongside editorial director Hannah Boursnell, completed the deal for world rights (excluding North America and translation) in Feed Me Vegan: For All Occasions with Ariella Feiner at United Agents on behalf of Matt Nicholls.
The book will feature 85 "beautifully photographed", "easy" recipes designed to appeal to both long-term and newly converted vegans. It follows Feed Me Vegan, the bestselling vegan book of January 2018 and one of the bestselling cookery debuts of 2017. It has Bookscanned over 35k copies to date.
Sphere will publish in print and e-book in September 2018.
Smith said: "It was an absolute delight working with Lucy on Feed Me Vegan, a book of brilliant recipes which reflect her amazing commitment to the vegan cause. She’s worked tirelessly to get her book to as many people as possible, and I’m so excited to be working with her again on a book that feels just as exciting and relevant."
Watson, a PETA ambassador and RSPCA campaigner, has been vegetarian since the age of five and turned vegan in 2015. Her first vegan restaurant is opening in April 2018.
She added: "I am absolutely delighted that we are going to be bringing out another vegan cook book. The first book has done better than I ever imagined it could and I can’t wait to release loads more delicious recipes for everyone to try."
