Sphere to publish new ‘beautifully illustrated’ book by print maker Angela Harding 

Sphere will publish a new “beautifully illustrated” book by print maker Angela Harding. 

World rights for Still Waters and Wild Waves were acquired direct from the author by former Sphere publisher Emily Barrett. Cath Burke, deputy managing director of Little, Brown Book Group and executive publisher for commercial, and Serena Barrett, Sphere non-fiction editor, are now publishing on 26th September. 

“In her gorgeous new book, Angela Harding takes readers with her on her travels across rivers and seas, featuring beautiful paintings and prints, pages from Angela’s personal sketchbooks and stunning photos,” Sphere said. “It is a joyful celebration of water and wildlife across Britain – perfect for art admirers and nature lovers everywhere.” 

Harding said: “Still Waters and Wild Waves is a personal reflection of our lifestyle, my husband Mark and I do spend much of the year away from home on our boat, "Windsong". Writing and illustrating this book has given me the opportunity to share wildlife we have seen together as well as the solo adventure I have done. This book concentrates on my encounters with nature by water and I have walked, sailed and cycled round islands, coastlines, rivers and seas, always with a pair of binoculars and sketchbook to hand.”
