SRL Publishing lands third novel from Robert Welbourn
SRL Publishing, the "climate-positive" publisher, has landed Great Romances of the 20th Century, the third novel from Robert Welbourn.
Stuart Debar, creative director, acquired world English rights after a direct submission. The novel is slated for publication in November 2024.
Great Romances of the 20th Century is about one man’s quest to settle down in New York City.
The synopsis reads: "In New York, in a city with 8.5 million people, in a world of eight billion, Stephen has found the one. He just has to make her realise he’s her future, but life isn’t as straightforward as that.
"Sometimes imitating our heroes isn’t the best way to get what you’re hoping for. Sometimes, she just doesn’t like you the way you like her. Then what?"
