SRL signs host of new titles from James, Morgan, Clark and Welbourn
SRL Publishing has signed a host of titles from Cameron James, J C Morgan, Sue Clark and Robert Welbourn.
Founder and director Stuart Debar acquired world English rights to all the titles directly from the respective authors.
Debar signed a two-book deal with James for Just Like A Fairytale and Adolescent, both adult LGBTQ+ novels which will be published in November 2023 and June 2024 respectively.
Clark, a scriptwriter, will publish A Novel Solution, her second novel with SRL which follows Trish, a life-long people pleaser who has finally had enough. "But is the chosen solution to her problems the right one?" The novel will be published in early 2024.
Morgan’s Hedone is the sequel to her LGBTQ+ thriller – a "twisted tale of obsession, abuse, and revenge, told through the eyes of the abuser and his lover".
Welbourn’s "emotional and addictive" novel Ideal Angels, publishing in early 2024, is a love story between a man and woman living in Leeds and how social media comes between them. The synopsis reads: "The story of one man and one woman across one week. They meet, fall in love, and never look back. Eloise’s phone is never far away, obsessively cataloguing their ups and downs, with shadows lurking just out of reach. The moments after the flash of the camera, unseen and uncaptured. The threat of inescapable doom. How much can one person be your downfall?"
