SRL signs Kennedy is King sequel from James
SRL Publishing has signed Cassidy is Queen from Cameron James, the sequel to Kennedy is King (SRL).
Founder and director Stuart Debar acquired world rights directly from the author. The novel will be published in summer 2023.
Debar described the book as an adult LGBTQ+ novel with someone "figuring out where they fit in the world and starting to realise they’re not in the place they want to be".
The book follows Cassidy as hr tries to figure out his place in the world whilst being one of the most popular people in school. However, a misunderstanding in a coffee shop leads him to rethink his position and whether being popular is truly important.
