The Hotel Maid opens with the murder of a woman in a hotel room as a child is reported missing on the hotel grounds.
Dunne is the organiser and programmer of the Spike Island Literary Festival in Ireland and is anticipating the development of her Lindsey Ryan series, published by Polis Books, for television . She commented: "I’m so thrilled and excited to be working with Claire Bord and the powerhouse team at Storm, and I’m incredibly grateful to my agent, Nicky Lovick, at WGM Atlantic for introducing us. To be a part of a team who are as passionate about my work as I am is a dream come true."
Bord added: "Michelle’s writing oozes suspense and atmosphere. She takes ordinary, everyday people and plants them in extraordinary circumstances, creating twisty stories that you simply cannot stop reading. There continues to be a huge appetite for domestic psychological thrillers, and I know Michelle’s books have the potential to reach a huge audience. I’m delighted to be welcoming her to Storm."
