Swift Press has snapped up Moscow X, the second thriller by ex-CIA officer David McCloskey, the author of Damascus Station (Swift Press).
Publisher Mark Richards bought UK Commonwealth rights excluding Canada from Stephanie Thwaites at Curtis Brown, on behalf of Rafe Sagalyn at CAA. Moscow X will be published as a hardback on 18th January 2024.
Richards said: "We are thrilled to be publishing David’s second novel, Moscow X, after the critical and commercial success of his debut, Damascus Station [...] We are looking forward to having him here in the UK in January to launch his vital new novel."
McCloskey added: "I’ve really enjoyed working with Swift Press—the reaction to Damascus Station has surprised and delighted me—and I’m thrilled to partner with the same team again. My new novel, Moscow X, is fiction grounded in the tragedy of present day Russia and a peek into the realities of modern espionage amid the new Cold War."
