Black & White Publishing, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, is releasing a second book from Coinneach MacLeod, known as The Hebridean Baker.
Campbell Brown, managing director at Black & White, acquired world rights direct from the author for publication in September 2022.
MacLeod’s second book, following his 2021 debut The Hebridean Baker, will be My Scottish Island Kitchen, described by the publisher as “a fresh selection of rustic recipes, charming stories and breathtaking photography from the Outer Hebrides”.
The synopsis continues: “Inspired by family recipes, traditional bakes and Scottish flavours, MacLeod uses local produce to showcase Scotland’s extensive larder and bring us wholesome and flavourful dishes with a story to tell. Including some special guest appearances, there is something for everyone in this lovingly crafted collection of homemade delights.
“Alongside his signature hearty dishes, the cookbook is filled with delicious recipes, from Island Scones to Caledonian Cream, Posh Mince and Tatties to a Flying Scotsman and First Footers Martini to Empire Biscuits. Treats to make every Scot and lover of Scotland flock to their kitchens!”

MacLeod was born and raised on the Isle of Lewis, the most northerly of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Inspired by traditional family recipes and homegrown produce, he rose to fame as the Hebridean Baker on TikTok in 2020, garnering more than 20 million video views on the platform.
He said: “I’m so excited to be sharing my new book filled with more delicious recipes, Hebridean stories and beautiful island landscapes. My Scottish Island Kitchen offers a true taste of the Hebrides and I hope folk fall in love with the book.”
