Thomas & Mercer has netted three "unforgettable" thrillers from Mark Edwards.
Editor Victoria Oundjian acquired world English language rights from Madeleine Milburn at the Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency. Keep Her Secret, the first in the deal, will be published in May 2023.
"It’s been truly exhilarating seeing Mark’s brand grow with Thomas & Mercer on the global stage," said Milburn. "He is the king of suspense, and I can’t wait to see him break new records with Keep Her Secret."
Edwards has written 13 thrillers since his debut The Magpies, and his last novel, No Place to Run, made it into the top ten Kindle chart. Keep Her Secret follows a man who become involved in a deadly secret after a chance meeting with his university girlfriend.
Oundjian said: "We are thrilled to be continuing to support Mark’s gripping crime novels, especially as we close in on ten years since Mark’s solo debut The Magpies. These three new novels are twisty and unforgettable. Keep Her Secret will have readers on the edge of their seats – this is a return to the UK and an unputdownable delight for everyone to enjoy in May 2023."
Mouncif Faqir commented: "Mark Edwards is an exceptional talent and we are thrilled to be following up Mark’s success with three more unforgettable psychological thrillers."
Edwards added: "2023 will mark 10 years since I first signed with Thomas & Mercer, so I’m thrilled to be celebrating a decade of success with this new deal. After three novels set in the USA, I’m excited to be back on home turf with Keep Her Secret, which I think is my twistiest book yet.
