Thomas & Mercer, an imprint of Amazon Publishing, has acquired world English language rights to three books by Dean Koontz.
Koontz, who also publishes with Amazon Publishing in the US, is represented by Richard Pine and Kimberly Witherspoon of InkWell Management and Richard Heller of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz.
The first title in the deal, The Other Emily, will be published on 23rd March 2021, and will take readers on a "twisting" journey of lost love, impossible second chances and terrifying promises, says the publisher. The second and third books are slated for 2022.
Eoin Purcell, head of Amazon Publishing, UK, said: "Expanding our work with Dean to include reaching all English language readers is a thrilling next step in our relationship. We are excited to bring three new books from one of the world’s foremost storytellers to his fans—and soon-to-be fans—around the globe!"
Koontz is the author of the Nameless series, published under the Amazon Original Stories imprint. He has also published two standalone novels with HarperCollins UK, Devoted (April 2020) and Elsewhere (November 2020); both were published by Thomas & Mercer in the US.
