Thomas & Mercer signs three more novels from Caroline Mitchell

Amazon imprint Thomas & Mercer will publish three further books by Caroline Mitchell.

World English rights to the three titles were sold by Madeleine Milburn at the Madeleine Milburn Literary Agency to Jack Butler, editor at Thomas & Mercer.

Two of these novels are the next in the bestselling DI Amy Winter series, featuring the troubled protagonist. The third is a standalone psychological thriller named Gone.

The announcement comes two months after it was revealed at the inaugural Capital Crime Festival in London that Truth and Lies, the first in the DI Amy Winter Series, has been optioned for TV by Awesome Media.

Mitchell, a former police detective, who has worked for the CID, is the author of 11 crime thrillers to date. Her novel Silent Victim was a Number 1 digital bestseller in the UK, US and Australia, selling 30,000 copies in a month, Milburn said. Most recently, her novel Truth and Lies was named as among the New York Times bestselling audio fiction for June, but the list of awards and international recognition goes back much further than this.
