Bonnier Zaffre has acquired two new thrillers from T M Logan whose debut Lies sold 300,000 copies across all editions according to the publisher.
Sophie Orme, editorial director at Bonnier Zaffre, acquired UK and commonwealth rights in the currently untitled books from agent Camilla Wray at Darley Anderson.
The first of the thrillers under contract is scheduled for publication in Spring 2019 on the Zaffre imprint. It will follow Logan's second novel, 29 Seconds, which is due to publish in e-book in January with the paperback to follow.
Orme promised Zaffre had "even greater" plans for Logan following the success of his debut, branding him "a real master of the everyman thriller - books about ordinary people facing the most terrible dilemmas - and packed with twists and turns".
"Lies has been a phenomenal success for us and we have even greater plans for 29 Seconds, a book as timely as it is gripping,” she said.
Wray added: “Lies has been a wonderful team experience with Tim and Bonnier Publishing and the success we’ve had this year is incredibly exciting. We can’t wait to see how this team builds and are thrilled Tim, Sophie and the whole Bonnier Zaffre team will continue to work together.”
