Bonnier Publishing is launching the third book of qualified nutritionist, chef and TV personality Tonia Buxton: The Secret of Spice.
Lagom publisher Natalie Jerome acquired world all language rights from Vickie White at White Management.
In her new fully-illustrated book, publishing on 10th January 2019, Buxton will reveal "the secret to a happier, healthier, spicier life" through spice-based recipes for delicious meals, beauty products and "powerful potions to help [readers] live longer and feel better, naturally". Every chapter will focus on a different spice, tracking its history and explaining the health benefits that come from using it.
Buxton's previous books with Bonnier include Eat Greek For a Week and The Real Greek cookbook featuring some of her recipes devised for the restaurant chain.
She said: “Spices have always been sought and fought after, not just for their amazing transformative action on the taste of food but also for their wonderful curative and healing qualities. In The Secret of Spice I want to show people how to make the most delicious food and also do themselves some good by eating it too. Adding a little spice to your food means you will be adding a lot of spice to your life.”
Natalie Jerome said: “At 50 years old, Tonia is living proof that using spices can make you look and feel incredible. Spices have been used for thousands of years to heal people and keep illness at bay, and Tonia is reminding us, through her delicious, easy-to-follow recipes and holistic home remedies, that putting a little spice in your life can still do wonders for your wellbeing today.”
