Penguin Random House is to publish TV personality Ferne McCann's autobiography 100% Me in May.
The deal was struck by Century editor Ajda Vucicevic, who acquired world rights from Leisa Maloney at FirePR and Management with Carly Cook as publishing consultant and ghost writer.
According to the publisher: "In 100% Me, Ferne tells her own story in her own words. She lifts the lid on love and heartbreak, the ups and downs behind the scenes of ITV's much loved reality TV show, TOWIE and what really went on in the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of here jungle, the show that was the best thing that ever happened to her. 100% Me promises to be candid, moving and, above all, a story told with Ferne's characteristic wit and honesty."
Vucicevic said: “Ferne is such a strong, inspiring woman and I am so proud that we’re publishing her story. 100% Me is the book her fans have been dying to read, and will show everyone the real Ferne; 100% genuine, honest and most of all super fun.”
McCann said she was "so thrilled and excited" to have the opportunity to publish her autobiography.
"I have had a roller coaster of a ride since joining TOWIE in 2013, including making the final of I'm a Celebrity, which was truly an experience of a lifetime," she said. "So much has been written about me and I'm very grateful to have been given the chance to tell my story in my own words. This book is from the heart and 100% me. I can't wait to share it.”
McCann is a TV personality and presenter. She appeared in the ninth series of "The Only Way is Essex" and "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" in 2015. She became the showbiz reporter for "This Morning" in January 2016.
The book will be published in hardback and as an e-book on May 19th 2016 by Century and will be published in paperback in 2017.
