Trapeze is publishing a Royal Wedding-themed colouring book from illustrator Adam Rushton.
The Royal Wedding Colouring Book will reimagine Hollywood’s most iconic love scenes casting the happy couple - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - in starring roles.
Anna Valentine, publisher of Trapeze, bought world rights, all languages in the book directly from Rushton to publish as a £5.99 paperback in April 2018.
The book's "tongue-in-cheek" illustrations include a depiction of Prince Harry setting sail aboard the Titanic and proclaiming: "I’m sixth in line to be king of the world!" as well as a reimagining of the moment when Meghan said, "Yes, yes, YES!" in that scene from the film "When Harry Met Sally".
Valentine said: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding is undoubtedly one of the most talked about events of the year. The Royal Wedding Colouring Book is a unique and fun addition to the conversation, featuring Harry and Meghan in some of the big screen’s greatest love scenes. It’s the perfect way to celebrate their forthcoming nuptials and commiserate on missing out on marrying Britain’s former most-eligible bachelor.”
Rushton has been a freelance illustrator for over 15 years and his previous titles include Where’s Boris? (Orion) and Behind the Magic Door (Between the Lines Books Limited).
Other books marking the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle include a "definitive" biography of Prince Harry by journalist and author Angela Levin from John Blake Publishing, part of Bonnier Publishing UK, an in-depth biography on Meghan Markle by Andrew Morton called Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, set to be published by Michael O’Mara Books on 19th April 2018 and Harry & Meghan: A Royal Engagement published by Pitkin last November.
