Trigger Publishing has signed a debut from “Love Sober” podcast hosts Kate Baily and Mandy Manners which aims to help mothers live happy, alcohol-free lives.
Jo Lal, publisher, acquired world rights for Love Yourself Sober: A Self Care Guide to Alcohol Free Living for Busy Mothers from Jane Graham Maw at the Graham Maw Christie agency. The paperback will publish in September 2020.
Its synopsis states: “Particularly aimed at mothers who have found themselves drinking too much, often confusing the temporary stress-relief of a glass of wine with much needed me-time, Love Yourself Sober is an honest look at alcohol use in modern society and the messages that women are given about drinking. Using positive psychology, and including interactive workbook features, the book will explore how a problematic relationship with alcohol can easily develop, how to recognise it and what to do about it.”
Lal said: “The sober movement is growing daily. Kate and Mandy’s self-care approach make this a timely and empathetic book, and a perfect addition to the growing wellbeing Trigger list.”
