Two new Ella Harper novels to Canelo

Digital publisher Canelo has acquired two new novels by Ella Harper, who was previously published by HarperCollins.

The publisher acquired world English language rights to both titles from Kate Burke at Diane Banks Associates.

The first novel, One Last Wish, is an "emotionally gripping" and "bittersweet" novel about a couple facing the unimaginable – the terminal illness of their child – and how their young daughter makes it her last mission to make them fall back in love.

One Last Wish is scheduled for release in early 2017. The second novel, currently untitled, will be released in 2018.

Harper said: "I am absolutely thrilled to be joining such an energetic and dynamic team in Canelo. I’m really excited to be writing One Last Wish and can’t wait to get working with my new publisher to bring this emotional but uplifting novel to fruition."

Harper has published two books with HarperCollins, Pieces of You, released in 2014, and 2015’s The Years of Loving You.

Harper worked in banking for eight years before using her commute to write her first novel. Her first novel Pieces of You was voted the Epic Category Romantic Novel of the Year by the Romantic Novelists’ Association in 2014. She has also written four books under the name Sasha Wagstaff.
