UCLan Publishing has acquired a Young Adult trilogy called Foes & Cons by Georgia Bowers.
Hazel Holmes, publisher at UCLan Publishing, bought UK and Commonwealth rights for three titles by Bowers from Lauren Gardner at Bell Lomax Moreton.
The first book in the series publishes in paperback in June 2026, priced £8.99.
Bowers said: “I’m so excited to join the UCLan team and there isn’t a more perfect place for Foes & Cons, my love letter to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and fan conventions. UCLan is such a creative publisher and I can’t wait to see its vision for Foes & Cons in print. I was already a fan of UCLan thanks to Amy McCaw’s Mina and the Undead trilogy and look forward to being part of the same family.”
Holmes added: “Foes & Cons is a great addition to our YA list and the perfect ode to fandom culture, illustrating the lifelong friendships, creative inspiration and wonderfully nerdy passion that come from the shared love of a series.”
