Vermilion has acquired Sleep Reset: The New Tools of Rest and Recovery from sleep expert Natalie Pennicotte-Collier.
Editorial director Samantha Jackson acquired world rights in a four-way auction from Valeria Huerta at Valeria Huerta Literary Agency. Sleep Reset will publish 22nd February 2024.
Over the past decade Pennicotte-Collier has pioneered “a unique mind-body approach to enhance sleep health, performance and well-being" the publisher said. “She has helped thousands through her London clinic, as well as supporting elite sport athletes, those in the workplace and NHS GPs in the community.”
It continued: “In Sleep Reset, over a five-week programme, Natalie shares her own personal journey from insomnia to healthy sleep and helps readers harnesses mindfulness-based cognitive therapy techniques, breathwork exercises and meditation practices, to rebuild sleep confidence, support the nervous system, and improve overall sleep health. The book is also pioneering in its 15 guided audio tracks supporting the text.”
