Ebury imprint Vermilion is releasing a 10th anniversary edition of Brené Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection.
Out on 8th September 2020, it is being released in hardcover and as an audiobook recorded by Brown for the first time. The new edition will feature a foreword from Brown offering readers reflections on the 10 years since the book was published and an integration index that helps readers make the work their own.
Brown is a social scientist and research professor whose The Gifts of Imperfection has sold over 2 million copies in 35 different languages across the globe, according to the publisher.
It features 10 “guideposts to wholehearted living” that “not only help us understand the practices that will allow us to change our lives and families, they also walk us through the unattainable and sabotaging expectations that get in the way”.
Additional online components tied to the 10 year anniversary will be released in the autumn, including a free webinar series and the unveiling of a new Wholehearted Inventory—a research-based instrument that will allow readers to gauge their strengths and opportunities for growth in relation to the 10 guideposts.
