Vertebrate has scooped Cook Out, a "beautifully photographed" recipe book from Harrison Ward, also known as Fell Foodie.
Commissioning editor Kirsty Reade acquired world rights from Lisa Edwards at Redwood Tree Publishing. The cookbook will be published in autumn 2023.
Cook Out delivers "tasty, nutritious" recipes which can be cooked and prepared whilst on a walk or camping. The variety of recipes includes dishes which can be cooked in a single pot and still "provide the wow factor", adventure snacks, breakfast bites and sandwiches.
Ward commented: "I’m delighted that Vertebrate is giving me the chance to share my passion for cooking on a campstove in nature. It was a childhood dream to have my own cookbook and I hope it will inspire other foodies to enhance their outdoor adventures."
