Viking UK is publishing a new book by the author of global bestseller The Boys in the Boat, Daniel James Brown.
Daniel Crewe, publisher at Viking, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Raffaella De Angelis of WME, on behalf of Dorian Karchmar.
Brown’s new book is a Second World War story of Japanese-American patriots, which Crewe branded "a gripping and moving story of struggles on and off the battlefield, full of unknown heroes and lessons for today, that will resonate with his current fans and earn him even more".
The book will revolve around four young men, the children of immigrants, who sacrificed everything to prove their loyalty to their country.
James Brown said: "I can’t wait to tell this story about another remarkable group of young people whose story has so much relevance today. I’m eagerly looking forward to working with Viking UK to reveal what they did to the wider world."
