Walker signs four more from Bellos and Lyttleton

Walker Books has acquired four additional titles in the Football School series by Alex Bellos and Ben Lyttleton, with illustrations by Spike Gerrell.

Executive editorial director Denise Johnstone Burt acquired world English language rights to books 5-8 from Rebecca Carter at Janklow and Nesbit, taking the publishing through to 2021.

"Football School is one of the fastest growing brands at Walker – it’s a winning formula from two passionate and knowledgeable authors, supported by artist Spike Gerrell, creating books that combine football, which every child loves, and non-fiction," said Johnstone-Burt. I’m thrilled that we will be keeping up a sustained level of publishing for this fantastic series."
