Wayland has acquired two more titles dealing with politics and mental health in its And Other Big Questions non-fiction series, including a title co-written by children's author Michael Rosen.
World rights for What is Politics? Why Should We Care? And Other Big Questions by Rosen and Annemarie Young were bagged by publisher Paul Rockett from Charles Walker at United Agents.
Rockett also signed world rights for clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Maddox’s What is Mental Health? Where Does It Come From? And Other Big Questions from James Wills at Watson Little.
Rockett said: “Wayland is pleased and proud to announce the forthcoming publication of two new titles in its ground-breaking And Other Big Questions series for readers aged 10 and upwards. These topics couldn’t be more topical or timely and each book will be an excellent addition to a series inspiring and encouraging children to consider the big questions that have never been more relevant.”
What is Politics? will publish in November 2019, followed by What is Mental Health? in January 2020. Both will be released in hardback, priced £13.99.
