Welbeck Children’s signs picture book from Simpsons artist Climo

Welbeck Children’s has acquired a "heart-warming" picture book, You’re Loved, written and illustrated by "The Simpsons" artist Liz Climo.

Editor Jenni Lazell made the deal for UK and Commonwealth rights with Gemma Cooper at The Bent Agency, on behalf of Kathleen Ortiz at New Leaf Literary & Media. Roaring Brook Press will publish simultaneously in the US on 5th April 2022. 

You’re Loved will be told in gentle rhyming verse and is about new babies and all the fun and frustrations of growing up. It will celebrate the bond between parents and their children as they develop from strength to strength. Climo's artwork in the book is described as "simple and endearing, with a wonderful, wry humour that speaks to all parents (and their children)".

Climo has published three titles with Hachette US imprint Running Press: The Little World of Liz Climo (2014), Lobster Is the Best Medicine (2015) and Best Bear Ever! (2018).
