Will Young has written an accessible A-Z guide on mental health, Be Yourself and Happier, for Ebury Spotlight.
Lorna Russell, editorial director at Ebury, bought world rights from Adrian Sington at Kruger Crowne. It will be published on 21st April 2022 priced at £14.99.
“Mental health advocate Will Young pours positivity into your life sharing the lessons he has learnt at the coalface of depression and anxiety, to help you be your best self, and let go of anything holding you back,” Ebury said. “After suffering a breakdown in 2011, extensive therapy helped Will to unpick and interrogate everything he thought he knew: how he formed his identity, what he relied on for self-esteem and how he behaved and communicated. Everything he has learnt over the past 10 years, is now condensed into this accessible A-Z guide.”
The blurb reads: “Be Yourself and Happier sets out how to manage our everyday wellbeing, how to navigate our emotions, where they come from and how to create a balanced mindset with practical techniques everyone can use to ground themselves and set boundaries. Drawing on his own personal experience, Will shows us how to identify destructive patterns, develop good mindful habits, be true to who we are and grow into better versions of ourselves.
“Be Yourself and Happier will teach us all how to understand, accept, nurture, and allow ourselves to rise with our vulnerabilities, not in spite of them.”
