Wren & Rook to publish second Matthew Syed title

Wren & Rook, the non-fiction imprint of the Hachette Children’s Group (HCG), will this August publish The You Are Awesome Journal: Dare to find your confidence (and maybe even change the world) by Matthew Syed. 

The book is a companion to You Are Awesome, published by Wren & Rook in April, which has sold more than 42,000 copies through Nielsen BookScan. It is illustrated by Lindsey Sagar and Toby Triumph, and allows readers to record how they applied the ideas from the first book to their own lives. 

Debbie Foy, publishing director for Wren & Rook, secured world rights to the text from Jonny Geller at Curtis Brown Group. Liza Miller, senior editor at Wren & Rook, acquired the illustration rights with Robyn Newton of the Bright Agency for Sagar and with Dorcas Brown of Grand Matter for Triump.
