Yellow Kite is publishing A Simple Table by Chi-San Wan and Natali Stajcic, a book advocating a simple approach to healthy eating.
A Simple Table features "uncomplicated" recipes that are simply and naturally healthy, using fresh whole foods and "nourishing" ingredients.
Its authors met 10 years ago and, on discovering their mutual love of food, started their own company, The Pressery, making natural almond milk. Running a growing company encouraged them to find ways to stay healthy, and calm, amid a busy routine, on which premise of the book was born.
Recipes span all occassions, from a quick dinner to a full family meal, and includes trusted rituals, beauty recipes and advice.
Yellow Kite publisher Liz Gough acquired world rights directly from the authors. It will publish in March 2017.
Wan and Stajcic said: “A Simple Table is not a book of should or musts, but an account of what we have found makes us feel well and at our best. Whatever mood you are in we hope you will find a recipe to inspire you and leave you satisfied. And we hope our ideas will also encourage you to build balance in every area of your life. We want our book to be well-thumbed and well-shared. But, above all, we want it to be functional.”
